In 2007 Strategy Plus moved to the Jewellery Quarter to be beside many of our jeweller cliental in amongst the vibrant area. It was suggested to us that there needed to be a website to promote the area and its subsequent businesses as many had been set up in the past but were of poor design, lacking complete maintenance. We therefore designed, developed and uploaded all the content for, producing a comprehensive website for the JQ area. Progressing from nothing, the website moved up Google rankings to ensure over 10,000 unique visitors to the site every month. This generates hundreds of click-throughs for local businesses every month, and tens of thousands of pounds of advertising revenue.

The website was redesigned and developed in November 2013 so that the site was mobile responsive, making it easy to use on mobile devices.

Work started on the social media profiles at the start of 2013, and by October 2013 the Facebook and Instagram profiles had over 1300 likes and 780 followers respectively. The number of enquiries through both social media and the website has grown, and is now a central source of information for many thousands of visitors to the area every month.

Oxford Online Pharmacy is a fast-growing online pharmacy business that started trading in 2012. With nearly all sales generated by expensive Google ads, Oxford Online Pharmacy looked to Strategy Plus to improve all other elements of their online presence.



Within 4 weeks we developed their email design to increase product size and better positioning of call to actions. We also scheduled different types of refreshing content throughout the month so that people weren’t bored by the same thing again and again. A/B testing was done to ensure we found the best days and times to schedule the emails as well as the subject headings. After just 4 weeks we had increased their email revenue by 40%.



Because the vast majority of new business will come through Google, it is essential get to the first page. However, to succeed with a search term such as ‘online pharmacy’ you would be competing against well-established big name brands such as Boots and Lloyds. Within just 3 months we achieved top 5 results on the first page.



The purpose of Social Media within this campaign was to build a brand that customers were attached to and increase awareness of the brand itself. Again, with the use of varying types of content and well scheduled posts, we instantly increased their reach by over 30%.
