Blogging

You may be thinking I haven't got time to create new blogs, so why would I spend time updating old ones? Well you may be surprised when you look at your website's analytics to find many of your old blogs are generating most of your traffic. I mention this because we noticed that the 2nd most popular page on our entire website was a blog from 3 years ago, which was discussing drop shipping tips for eCommerce businesses. "What on earth is he doing." some of you might be saying. "A daily blog on your company website?" Yes, you might think it's unrealistic, uninteresting or maybe even unprofessional to try and post a daily blog on the company website. I, however, think 140 characters on Twitter is just not enough sometimes. Like most of you, whether you are a butcher, baker or, in my case, an online marketing director, I have daily insights that may be worth sharing. The lack of a middle ground between tweets and well researched detailed pieces of content was recently highlighted to me by Gary Vaynerchuk's article about building a personal brand.

Lead

With 1.13 billion daily active users, there is no doubt that Facebook is an important business tool for every kind of business. Including supporting you to create a robust brand identity, allowing for promotion of the content you create, creating a community centred around your business and allowing your business to get easily found in searches.

They may wonder how it can help their business or brand and why they should bother to invest time and money into social media. So we decided to compile a list to decipher why you should be dedicating some time to getting your message across clear and concisely on social media platforms.
