Web Design

.A landing page is a page on your website that is designed to obtain a conversion, whether this is a sale, a download, a contact form or an upload. High-conversion rates on a landing page are on the basis of a successful online business. The more landing pages you have on your website, the more likely you are to get search traffic and conversions so never underestimate the power of an SEO friendly landing page. Websites with 10-15 landing pages, in fact, get 55% more conversions than websites with less than 10. Now that you know how important landing pages are, what makes a good landing page?

If you're not entirely sure what a rebrand is, I suggest you take a look at Lia's article, but I thought I would explain why we chose to go through this challenging and time-consuming process. If I were to start the business from today I would never have chosen the name Strategy Plus. As it's hard to say over the phone, has a poor email address and, quite frankly. it has no character.

Congrats! You have a website, you may have had it for some time and yet you're still not sure if it's working as well as it could. You might even know that that there's thousands of visits but very little leads. Or maybe you used to get leads but have slowly decreased over time. I know there may be a thousand reasons as to why your website is performing the way it is. This article is to give you three tools to help you understand if there is an issue, what is the issue and even if your website isn't converting visitors into leads and how to chase after them even after they left your site.

The blog title is not entirely accurate, really you should think about each webpage as though it was the entry page (the very first page someone lands on). By doing this, you will hopefully put as much effort into every page as you do with your homepage. I felt the need to create this blog after recently researching websites for a client. I've used one example here but the majority of sites I come across are guilty of the same shortfalls.

It would seem like fairly obvious advice to get a few specific quotes when investing significant funds. Most people do when looking for a new provider. However, this isn't always the case when businesses place an order through an existing provider. This was highlighted when I was told by a client that they   £10k to make their eCommerce website mobile responsive. If they had just double checked with other web developers in the area they would have found that this quote was much more than what they should have paid.

Present times have seen the web design industry flourish with the promise of promoting a business and/or marketing a product. As there are millions of users constantly exploring the internet, searching for what they are looking for in the comfort of their own homes - many businesses won't want to miss out of the likelihood of profits they can receive from this activity.

The design of your website is as crucial to your business as is the content that is included on your website. Web design usually receives mixed opinions on what is good or bad design usually because it can be subjective. However, some may believe that having a sleek, modern, up to date website is what constitutes a good website design, whereas others will prefer a muted down version of the former, and something simple will work just as well. Website design preference will often vary depending on the particular industry or business, sometimes on which web design is trending, but neither of these designs is wrong, or bad. What elements are considered 'wrong' in website design?
