We built a brand new website for Rising Sun Camper in November 2023, focusing on showcasing their conversion expertise through high-quality imagery and detailed information on the services they provide, including adding new conversion package pages which make it easy for potential customers to pick the right option for them.

Our technical improvements included structured data implementation on all key pages to help search engines understand their services, locations, and more as well as ensuring the site was quick to load, and provided a positive customer experience.

Content Strategy and Blog Development

We developed a comprehensive blog strategy focused on camper van conversion techniques and lifestyle content. The blog now features helpful articles like “Our Essential Guide to Buying a Campervan,” “Legal Considerations for Converting a Camper Van in the UK,” and “Keeping Cool in a Camper: Simple Tips for Summer Comfort,” establishing Rising Sun’s authority across the entire camper van journey.

Our approach targeted high-volume keywords whilst answering genuine customer questions. This dual strategy has proven particularly effective – Rising Sun now appears in AI overviews and People Also Asked sections for valuable terms like “best small van for camper conversion,” “transit van conversion,” and “how to build a camper van.” These featured snippets position them as the go-to expert before users even visit competitor websites.

Seasonal content aligned with peak conversion periods, covering everything from summer cooling solutions to winter heating guides. Comprehensive FAQ-style articles addressed common customer queries about conversions, legal requirements, and maintenance, improving both user experience and search visibility.

Link Building Campaigns

We identified opportunities within the camper van community, securing quality backlinks from suppliers, local press and camper van-related websites. Our approach prioritised relationship building over bulk link acquisition, with guest posts focusing on sharing practical conversion advice rather than promotional content.

Service Page Optimisation and Content Expansion

We developed detailed service pages for specialist conversion elements including Elevating Roofs, Solar Panels, Diesel Heaters, Electrics, Upholstery, Window Fitting, Paintwork, Alloy Wheels, and Carpet Lining.

These targeted pages capture customers researching specific components, with comprehensive FAQs addressing common concerns about costs, installation requirements, and technical specifications throughout their planning journey.

We added a recent projects page, which became a powerful tool for demonstrating Rising Sun’s versatility beyond standard camper conversions. Recent showcases include welfare vehicles for Powerplane and Saffires charity, highlighting their ability to create purpose-built solutions for commercial clients.

We also added an Events & Festivals page targeting the thriving van life community, providing comprehensive listings of UK camper van events throughout the year. This content attracts enthusiasts and helps to position Rising Sun as an active community member rather than just a service provider. In June 2025 alone, this page attracted 179 users through organic search.

Structured Data Implementation

We added comprehensive structured data markup across the site, helping search engines better understand Rising Sun’s business type, services, location, and customer reviews.

Google My Business Optimisation

We took control of the Google My Business profile and optimised this to ensure it had maximum effect and visibility in local searches. We provided a thorough description as well as comprehensive details on all of the conversion packages. We added fresh imagery and made sure all services provided were listed.

This helps us go from 621 interactions in February 2025 to 851 in June.
